BIGFACE COFFEE, Jimmy Butler’s brainchild and hustle
Jimmy Butler is one of the best basketball players in the NBA. He became a household name in the 2020 NBA Bubble with his amazing performance in the Finals against Lebron James
That wasn’t all he was doing during the 2020 NBA Bubble though. With everybody limited in where they could go during the bubble, Jimmy began selling $20 cups of coffee from his hotel room
The rest is history and BIGFACE was born in 2021. Here’s the story:

This is a shameless plug, but check out my video on how to make Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings). These are some of my favorite dumplings, ever, and I wanted to try my hand at making them for the first time
This article, A Guide to Thai Curry Varieties, from Serious Eats is more like 20 recipes in one, but it uncovers the secrets behind Thai Curries. I never grew up eating Thai curry, but instantly loved it the first time I had Massaman curry a couple of years ago
Even if you’re not adventurous enough to try making Thai curry (which in a lot of cases does have unique ingredients you may not have easy access to), this is still a great guide to ordering the next time you’re at a Thai restaurant

Taste.com is a 5 year old publication that is a great source of recipes, kitchen tips, and most importantly the column from JJ Goode - America’s Best Worst Cook
JJ is a great writer who comically comments on the professional chefs he works with on a regular basis to make cookbooks. His piece Things Chefs Do That You Should Not Do, is a great take on the struggle of a home cook that knows better, but doesn’t want to
Getting a reservation in NYC is hard, but three guys tried to change that with #FreeRezy. It’s too bad it was recently shut down.
Here’s the story from EATER NY about how #FreeRezy started, and then how it ended very soon after
Knife skills are one of the most important things for a chef to know. Good knife skills can save you a lot of time, and maybe even a couple of finger.
Bruno Albouze has an amazing video explaining all the different cuts you’ll see in the kitchen - all performed on the largest carrots I’ve ever seen
Not only do his knife skills look effortless, but he has a voice built for radio that will soothe you right to sleep if you’re not careful
